The music that we listen to changes from day to day, sometimes a song will be a hit with us for a while and then something new comes along and soon takes its place. New songs come and go in quick procession and so perhaps it might be years until we hear or think of a song from the past again. We all have songs that we identify with, perhaps it was a joyous moment or maybe a sorrow that was buried deep. I try to dig deep and find songs that will reignite those feelings. Most of the different artists that I use have had a song or songs that reached the top of the chart and will be remembered for decades. Some of those artists range from the likes of Elvis, Ricky Nelson, The Duprees, Bobby Vinton, Buddy Holly and many more on the Oldie Rock side of the isle. While Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Jim Reeves, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Keith Whitley and the list goes on, help to bring up the Country side of things. To this collection I add my own original songs that have touched my life in one way or another.
